Griffin Barbieri is a researcher and music producer attending the Georgia Institute of Technology.

His work focuses on machine learning implementations in commercial mixing workflows, including identifying AI-generated music, extracting audio effect parameters from mixes, and building VST plugins based on state-of-the-art machine learning models.

His music—which sits firmly in the vein of artists like Philip Glass, C418, and Jon Hopkins—is deeply narrative, telling stories ranging from the whimsical to the existentially terrifying.

He brings his creative mixing and composition skill to Flow Studio, a multimedia production studio in Nashville of which he is co-founder.
